Story Contest Winners

2024 is the 25th year of our annual story contests.  The stories, as usual, are top notch. It was a pleasure to read them and to help the judges come up with the winners.

It was also sad, because there were many fine stories that did not make the list.
In many cases they were disqualified merely because they were too short or too long.  I sincerly regret that we can't acknowledge them all.
For the 2024 contest cycle the first prize in each category is $200.  Runner-up prize is $100.  All finalists receive attractive certificates suitable for framing.  Click here to see one of our award certificates.
The five 2025 contests are now open. You can click here to see the rules for those contests.
Take the time to read these fine stories.   After that, think about entering one of your stories and then click here to learn how.
*Note: Previous contest winners have a contest all their own.  This gives newer writers a better chance of winning one of the regular contests. To see the results of the Winners Circle contests click here
