Born in England, Valerie Byron moved to California at the age of twelve. Five years later, a transformed young woman, she returned to England, landing her dream job at Granada Television in the swinging ‘60’s.
 
She returned to California in 1969, and worked for Universal Studios, ICM Talent Agency and Bart-Palevsky, movie producers. Her memoirs, "No Ordinary Woman", were published in 2012 along with a book of short stories, "The Man Who Lost His Genius & Other Stories" and a children's book, "Surprisingly Short Stories"
