I live in Venice, Italy with my husband Fran. I was born in Guyana, South America but grew up in London with my widowed mother and younger sister from the age of 6. I worked 6 years as a manager in the Private Sector for a well known American Sports Management Company, then a further 6 years as a manager in the Public Sector with the homeless. I now teach English here in Venice and occasionally translate, as well as write lyrics for my husband’s songs, short stories and poems. Words are my passion.

I love travelling, reading, meeting people and learning about their lives and cultures. I also love spending time with my 6 nieces and nephews and 5 Godchildren.
