At each step of life, there is a level which we must pass in order to reach the next. So, we grow and become mature. And every step has its demands which we'll have to comply in order to benefit from its privileges.

Thus, the Lord Jesus gave us the privilege to grow in him, to know him more, as and when we grow through its word that is the plinth.

He reveals himself of different ways. And as and when we grow, he reveals us another part of him that we didn't Know before. By following and practicing His word, we pass steps until to reach the maturity.

Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior went through these steps in order to reach the full maturity.

When He has been born, although his birth has been supernatural, but He was still a baby. At 12 years old, even though he had a level of knowledge amazing everyone who heard him (Luke 2:46-47), but he was still a child.

At thirty-three years old, even though he had got the baptism by John and the Spirit was descended on him like a dove (Mark 1:9-10), there was something which missed him.

When He had done all kinds of miracles... until he was crucified, there was something which missed him.

It's only when He raised from the dead that, let's say, He entered into the full possession of his capacities. For after raising from the dead, he said: Matthew: 28
18 “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me”. What He had never said before being raising from the dead.

The Son of God needed to get through the steps to get the name that's above every name (Philippians 2:9). And that's a lesson for each and every one of us, for He was tested and proven in order to bring out the best of him like precious gold.

He handed this thing over his disciples: The same Peter who was with Jesus Christ in his lifetime on earth, was not the same once Jesus Christ was ascended. He had progressed in his relationship with the Lord until to reach the maturity.

The Paul of the conversion (Acts 9), was not the same with the one who went to meet the pillars of Church who were Peter, John and James (Galatians 2:9). He had progressed in his relationship with God. Likewise, with several disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The privilege that the Lord gave us is that, within him we evolve without cease because He is boundless.

And the fact to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is a privilege that many people don't have. So, we must bear fruit of fear to be cast.

Matthew:7
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
