A Good-bye For Soldier
The Alphabetologist

An Afternoon with Tyco's Toys

R. D. Flavin is a writer, researcher, and alphabetologist. He's sold dark fantasy stories, but has never pursued publishing any of his 'realistic' stories. This may change with many literary small-press now available (as well as the online Storyhouse.org, of course). And, yes, there probably is some autobiographical elements in “The Alphabetologist.” He's currently working on a H. P. Lovecraft inspired novel, THE BELLS OF KINGSTON, in the Cthulhu mythos genre.

He is also a Registered Ketchup Offender in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (the ketchup from his home fires BARELY touched his scrambled eggs, but the waitress called the police regardless), enjoys writing, value menus at McDonalds and Burger King, and once stood on his right leg for over an hour. He's currently practicing for standing on his left leg.

R. D. is originally from Chicago, though he has lived in Boston off and on for the last 27 years. The year and a half spent in NYC and Brooklyn doesn't count. It has to do with White and Red Sox.
