Melissa Garrison Elliott has been a movie title designer, a teen librarian, a portrait artist, and a writer of articles, essays and stories. She has been published in Veggie Life magazine, The Downtown News, The Advocate, and The Christian Science Monitor, as well as in two story anthologies—The Knitter's Gift, by Bernadette Murphy, and The Runner's High, edited by Garth Battista.  She has lived in Los Angeles for 52 years.
