Mary E Whitsell was born and raised in California, but has also lived in Florida, Nevada and New York City. She lived in Japan for seventeen years, where she worked as a rewriter, teacher, proofreader and translator -- and raised two children. Mary has also lived in the Netherlands, Wales, and Scotland, where she currently resides with her family. She has visited Korea on four separate occasions.
