Winter's Tale War Years Yonnie My Way or the Highway

I am a retired teacher, now living in Outback Queensland. My husband and I make up 1/8th of the village population. We share our home with two very spoiled Pekes, 5 cats (who somehow found that we were soft touches) and some fascinating bird life. They all rule our lives. I write a local news letter for this large area (covers 500 kilometres), enjoy reading, writing poetry, articles and short stories, craft work, communicating with friends and family on the Internet (when they aren't visiting) and watching my grand daughter grow, albeit from a distance. I have had some small successes with my writings but mainly enjoy just fiddling with words.
