Eileen’s first love has always been the arts, although her career was in special education, first as a teacher, and then as an administrator. She earned her M.S. in Fine Arts as well as a M.S. in Supervision and Administration from the City University of New York. After retiring, Eileen decided once more to pursue her interests. She currently attends online classes in painting, and in creative writing. Previously, Eileen attended classes in clay sculpture.

She is a member of the Riverdale Art Association and has had her paintings, pottery and sculpture displayed in various venues. Eileen resides in New York City.
