It was late at night, after midnight, alone in my new Brooklyn room, on my new Brooklyn bed, crammed with a belly full of dreams carousing my heavy head I picked up a pen and wrote:
What do you do when someone catches you taking their shit? Blubber? Apologize? Pass the buck onto some other shmuck? Give it back and say it’ll never happen again? Damn straight. Anything. You’ll do, say, the weirdest shit...to get off the hook. Say the guy confronts you, yells at you, threatens you...
