I met Bill twenty years ago when we were both living in Hillsboro Village and
taking yoga classes with Robbie at the old Unity Church.  We served on the
board together several times including these last four years.

Throughout the twenty years, Bill repeatedly encouraged me to teach yoga and
advised me on how to set it up as a business.  He is the reason I am teaching
at the downtown Y. I have much respect for his love of yoga and his
determined attitude of sharing the benefits of yoga with all who would
listen.

Bill was the kind of guy who was a social whirlwind and at the same time a
loner.  He could wear anyone down with his enthusiasm and exuberance.  He was
opinionated, stubborn, caring and open.

He was a good friend and dedicated teacher.  He will be missed by many of us.
