Currently she makes her home in Southern Oregon, weeding star thistles, baking bread for the birds who come to her balcony, gazing at the sunset through the haze of smoke during the forest fire season and writing, always writing.
Emily lives in the company of over a thousand books. Single, she is open to considering the merits of potential suitors. She likes long walks in bookstore aisles, quiet evenings reading by a roaring fire and roaring evenings reading by a quiet fire. Her motto is "Carpe library!"
